Courses Q & A

We hope you find this part satisfies any query you may have. Please feel free to enquire further by email:

Q. Will I need to buy additional books, materials for the course?

No. Everything that is required to complete the course is provided in the package we provide. Should you wish to make a deeper study we have a book shop and library where you may order at discount prices

Q. What eligibility requirements are there to enroll for a WEHO course?

For the Certificate or Diploma course a health care background whilst helpful, is not essential. Good command of English is required, communication skills, passion and compassion are more important

Q. Is it necessary to do the Introductory course before the Diploma?

No. They are entirely separate and independent courses. Doing the Certificate first however can make the Diploma easier to complete

Q. Where will I send my course-work for marking and grading?

Your course work is posted to WEHO office where your tutor is based. This will be negotiated with you after enrolment; you will also receive full online support by email and in certain circumstances telephone/Skype.

Q. Are there any tests or examinations?

Yes. There are periodic tests and assignments, a mid-term exam and a final exam. These may be re-sit if required at the discretion of the examiners

Q. How long do I have to complete the course?

There are no time limits but WEHO expect you to complete the course within two years. This is a course allied to medical practice and as such certain standards are justly applied to protect the Public, WEHO and E.H. Practitioners. Extensions may be granted where there is a genuine reason such as illness, family commitment, etc. Where an extension is required please contact the Director of Studies with the relevant details

Q. Do you offer refunds?

Yes. You may request a full refund within 7 days of enrolment, thereafter an administration fee will be deducted pro-rata per part course completed or delivered. Refunds are subject to all course materials being returned and electronic information deleted for which a signed affidavit is required

Q. How do I do the course?

Students are generally required to submit assignments on a monthly basis based upon the previous lessons recieved. These are usually sent by post or electronic methods. However, we usually send our lessons out in hard copy by traditional mail or courier

Q. Are the courses accredited?

Although WEHO UK does not require accreditation as our name is synonymous with quality, reliability and excellence-we provide it. We have more than one accreditation-a main one is C.M.A., The Complementary Medical Association, a recognised U.K. Accreditation Organisation of long-standing and authority. You will find this is a most worthwhile authentication of your new qualification.(Students from elsewhere have found that others advertise ‘accreditations’ that are found later to be less than meaningful)
